What size should my completed ad be?
If you are designing your ad yourself or having your favorite designer do it for you then there should be an 1/8″ bleed observed on all ads, with an additional 1/4″ safe space that the background covers. No text or images should be extended into the safe space.
1/4 page ads
Total Size – 4.5″ x 5.75″, including 1/8″ bleed
1/2 page ads
Total Size – 8.75″x5.75″, Including 1/8″ bleed
Full Page Ad
Total Size – 8.75″x11.25″, including 1/8″ bleed
All I have is physical printed photos, what should I do?
We can only accept photos in a digital format. Photos should be at 300dpi and in an RGB colorspace. You can scan your photos at home using a home scanner and upload them via our upload form. You can also visit your nearest Kinkos or Fedex Print stores and they can help you scan your photos. Be sure to bring a flash drive or have an email address handy for them to send your digital photos to.
How much influence do I have over the final design?
We try to make every dedication as unique as possible. Your words and chosen photos will be the highlight of our designs. We encourage you to send us examples or describe to the best of your ability, how you would like the layout, colors or text choices to feel.
Do I get to approve the dedication?
Yes! Once all materials are uploaded to us we will design a mockup of the dedication and then email you back a proof for your approval. You can have us make edits and we will send you back a final version before it goes to print.
